Stevo, I have to agree that the current X series, is the best LCD on the market. It's getting real close to the plasma. From a longevity standpoint, the Sony LCD will give you a better return for your dollar and I am pretty sure, would also save you a few dollars on your electricity bill too compared to the energy sapping plasma sets!

Sony have done an outstanding job with the X series and LCDs in general, they're really pushing the envelope. Good to see true HD out there at a decent price.
