Finally, I say! I think the A380 has been saved somewhat by Boeing's own dragging of feet with their new Dreamliner 787. It is indeed a remarkable engineering feat to have such a huge liner in the sky. Yes delays, but I guess safety is paramount. I hope I can fly on the A380 in the next year. Singapore Airlines is using it for its Sydney Singapore route, so chances are high.
I guess with the suites, quite a few more people will be joining the mile high club.

A great rundown of the A380 ! I do feel that SIA needs to upgrade their 747 fleet which is really showing its age. I'm looking forward to being able to fly the A380 to Singapore in the near future.

I can't wait to try out the plane as well and see how much difference the extra 2 inches in Economy class would make !!

The youngest person on this flight today is 10 months old and the oldest is 91. So I guess there would be no mile high actions for those 2 at least !!

I saw the take off on TV this morning and it was quite a fanfare ! Its a wonder that the giant bird actually took off considering its size !
