Oh this is one area I have to agree with you 100% !! In other aspects, I can consider myself casual and option for simplicity. Sach can tell you how I am always changing bags and getting new shoes, going for variety.

But the one constant in my life, at least for the past 5 years has been my hairdresser. And he is not cheap too !! Each visit to the hairdress for me, has never cost anything less than $150. Yet we have had this thing going on for 5 years !! So sometimes when my friends who have not seen me in some time, come up to me and say "OOO Mavis, you look the same like before !! Its like time has stood still for you!! I always wonder if its because I have not change hairdresser since !!

Not only that, but I am generally very "protective" of my hairdresser identity. Usually unless you are a very close friend of mine, I would hesitate to tell you where exactly I cut my hair. Reason being, a good hairdresser is like a girl's best kept secret !! What happens if he becomes popular and I end up seeing head clones of myself along Orchard road !!

The good thing is, I can pretty much guarantee that he would not pull a houdini on me and dissapear, because he is actually my friend's husband!!... hehehe !! (oh, the power of friendship!!!)

p.s. Sach, the one place where Sons mention she does not have hair, is where you can compete with us for hair growth !! However I think Sons will agree with me when I say, we would gladly, happily in fact, admit defeat to you in this instance... hehehe

But then again, women have more hair to style than men, which is probably why we get charged more

Also for men, a haircut is usually exactly as what it states, a hair cut !!

But when we women go for a haircut, it is really a wash, trim, treatment, blow dry, final trim, and style. In the best case scenario, it would only take 2 hours. In the worse case scenario, it could take up to 6 hours (especially if you are doing hair rebonding or straightening) !! This is where your Apple itouch would come in handy, huh !!
