Actually the best deal around at the moment is to pick up one of the discontinued 4Gb iPhones for US$299. That is a steal for a latest generation iPod plus phone. Of course, you have to make do with only 4Gb of space.

Great roundup on Apple's new offerings. The Ipod Touch looks like my next must get gadget. I don't have an extensive music collection and while on the surface, 16gb does not sound like too much, I think I can make do. Ipod Touch flash support is cool, that means no moving parts! Wi-fi in places like US and Singapore is a boon to consumers but for me here in Australia, and our decidedly slow adoption of services related to broadband, I am not sure we will reap much benefit in this capability in the short. Good on ya Apple for taking portable music players to the next level!
