So Paris Hilton thinks she can teach all of us a few thing or two about being a responsible citizen. After spending just 23 days in what seemed like a "luxurious" cell by any in-mates standards, she has spilled to the whole world that she is now a changed woman all because of a book that is taking Hollywood by storm - The Power of NOW. The book certainly seems good to make it into New York's Number 1 best-seller. The Power of NOW teaches us how to focus and accept the present moment, forgiving, maintain peace and moving forward. All good to me... Give me a break, Paris. This is a woman who tried to get out of getting into jail (gaol) by saying that citizens of the world "need" her because she makes their "boring" lives more exciting. Now she believes that this one book, The Power of NOW, has transformed her from being a serial socialite to one of a responsible citizen. Yep - possible, but knowing Paris & Co, I'll believe it when I see it.
I admit, I don't hate her. I actually think she is better than some of the other Hollywood junks like Lindsay (oh my Lord, I said it !!). But C'mon Ms Hilton, just admit that you just LOVE being in the spotlight and you cannot go through 23 days in jail without having all eyes still on you. I bet while you were in there, you were "plotting" your future on how to take advantage of this whole thing to make your name even bigger. To your credit, you have used your name extensively to sell everything from perfumes to jewelleries to other fashion items. I'll give you that much. Discuss this article on the forums. (0 posts)
